Gasthaus Breitachklamm in Tiefenbach

The food was delicious. The goulash soup is highly recommended. The staff was friendly and well organized despite the Corona circumstances.

Nice, normal restaurant with home-style cuisine at fair prices. The waitress, a young man, was very friendly and competent.

Good beer, food okay! 1 star deduction for the Allgäu fillet pot, the meat was too long in the pan. It is better to take the meat out earlier, but can pull it out.

The inn offers plenty of space inside and outside. Beautiful view. Not very busy in the afternoon during the week. Young waiter very nice. We can recommend the elderberry spritzer. When eating, the meat was a little too firm. Portions were good in size. Four and a half stars

The staff were friendly, however the cappuccino wasn’t the best and the cake was very cold as if it was in a fridge before serving it to us.

We stayed there for our dinner. The staff was very nice. We ate Hirschgoulasch. One of the best dinners we ever had. We can kindly recommend this place. The cake also is very nice and fruity.

After visiting the gorge, we were able to warm and dry ourselves there. The restaurant spartan regional Bavarian. The map is small and clear. The benches are cozy. The young staff friendly and hard-working. Questions about extra requests at no extra charge are no problem. The roast pork is large, the dumplings are fine, the red cabbage is good, the currywurst keeps the fries fresh and everything hot. The Klammtoast a little bit of bread and a lot of ham. The cake Lekker and the coffee good. Everything received without a long wait, but the restaurant was only 1/3 occupied. Prices match the quality. Dogs welcome.

To eat and sit for a while is ok, but next time I would rather try another restaurant in the sprawling surroundings. My hunter schnitzel was unfortunately inedible. The waiter then suggested as a solution to bring me a child Schnitzel. That actually tasted good. However, we had received only the discount the Kinderschnitzel was cheaper compared to the Jägerschnitzel. My husband had a roast pork that was totally dry. The dish was not that expensive, but we would have rather paid a little more and eaten it delicious. The cutlery was wrapped in cheap white paper napkins and placed on the table. The service did not convince us. A pity ...

We were here after the migration of the Breitachklamm. The iced coffee was for the price quite small and quite bad. The fries were fine, but the Currywurst was no bratwurst as it should be, but only a Bockwurst. :-( Overall, the dishes are more expensive. I would not eat here again.

Today, after a hike through Breitachklamm gorge, we ate a gong toast. It was delicious and the price fits. The server was very friendly, we like to come back.

Hike in late March. We are from Oberstdorf about Tiefenbach to Breitachklamm, as we had seen on the homepage of the inn Breitachklamm that they have opened. Nicely fooled. When we arrived we found a sign with company holidays. Homepage nice and good. What do you have for something?
